New Design Showcase Features Actual Shop Drawings from Completed Projects;
CHICAGO, June 14 -- A new feature on the Armstrong Ceiling Systems website allows architects and designers to view actual shop drawings depicting a variety of unique ways in which Axiom Perimeter Trim has been used to create a signature space. The site also provides visitors with the opportunity to submit their own ideas or plans for evaluation.
Axiom is an extruded aluminum perimeter trim system that provides more crisp edge detailing and better corrosion resistance than steel systems. Comprised of more than 17 different styles and visuals, the Axiom family of products offers a myriad of ceiling design options.
A sampling of those options are highlighted in the Armstrong website’s new "Axiom Design Showcase." The drawings featured on the site illustrate the wide range of shapes and configurations that can be created in addition to squares and circles. All drawings in the showcase are shop details from actual applications.
Idea Submissions Reviewed Within 48 Hours
The site also allows architects and designers to submit their own ideas for review. Armstrong technical experts will evaluate the design and then respond to the user within 48 hours, offering alternative designs, if necessary.
This service is especially helpful to those who are considering the use of floating ceiling clouds, but are not certain if perimeter trim can be "customized" to fit the design. If a particular angle or curve is too difficult, Armstrong will recommend the best way to achieve the desired result.
