Woodworks Vector Wins "Best Of Neocon" Silver Award
Armstrong expands Vector family of ceilings with introduction of new wood panels
WoodWorks Vector has been named a Silver Award winner in the 13th annual "Best of NeoCon" competition. The announcement was made during the NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2002 held June 10 in Chicago.
The new addition to the Vector family of ceilings offers the classic, upscale look of wood with the unique grid-hiding edge detail.
The Best of NeoCon competition honors new products introduced to the U.S. contract market since the close of NeoCon 2001. The criteria for judging include functionality, flexibility, quality/durability, aesthetics/style, innovation, and pricing.
The competition is sponsored by Facilities Design & Management magazine, Contract magazine, Merchandise Mart Properties, International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
The new WoodWorks panels are designed for use in high visibility areas, such as signature spaces in corporate, hospitality and retail environments. It is offered in three standard veneers – beech cherry and white maple – in either perforated or unperforated panels for acoustical control.
