General Motors Corporation

In one of the largest ceiling recycling projects, General Motors has started to recycle 1.4 million square feet of ceilings at Armstrong manufacturing facilities. The recycling program was a "major factor" behind GM selecting new Armstrong ceilings for its Tech Center in Warren, MI. Armstrong even agreed to recycle old ceilings that normally would not fit the program’s criteria. GM also ensured longer-term environmental stewardship by selecting Armstrong Ultima TM  ceilings, featuring 79% recycled material and 89% light reflectance, as one of the replacement ceilings.
