Orcal Bioguard heeft een speciale antibateriële finish die toegepast kan worden op alle Orcal tegels en Planks. Deze producten behouden Orcals stevige en duurzame poedercoating finish, die het mogelijk maakt om rigoureus schoon te maken, maar ook het toegevoegde voordeel van een actieve pesticide heeft die bacteriën zal doden als zij in aanraking komen van het oppervlakte van het plafond. Orcal Bioguard is vooral geschikt voor gebruik op Plain tegels, waar het eindgebruik de hoogste standaard van hygiëne vereist, zoals in ziekenhuizen of voedsel voorbereiding voorzieningen.
