Maintenance
Minimal maintenance and easy replacement
Our product ranges are developed for ease of maintenance resulting in minimum replacements. When needed, replacement tiles
are readily available through our comprehensive independent distributor network.
Cleanability
The frequency and method of cleaning of a ceiling varies from one application to another. All 95% RH products can be cleaned
with a moist cloth or a sponge dampened in water containing mild soap or diluted detergent. Where the ceiling is subjected
to smoke and grease such as in kitchens, or areas with more stringent cleaning regimes, Armstrong offers products with scrub-resistance
and even those suitable for high pressure water cleaning. For Healthcare premises, the Bioguard paint has enhanced resistance
to disinfectants.
Anti microbial
Armstrong products do not favour the development of fungi, moulds and yeasts. Our Bioguard items have developed this technology
even further to provide effective inhibition of many harmful bacteria, and allow for cleaning with most common disinfectants.
Superior corrosion resistance
Our standard grids are all hot dip galvanised to provide superior resistance to corrosion, and our high performance corrosion
resistant grid is additionally organically coated to protect in the severest of conditions. These quality products ensure
the maximum life cycle for the product.
10 years guarantee
Most of our products are cleanable and the hygiene tiles have an antifungicide treatment. All 95% RH products are free from
sag, which is why we offer a 10 year guarantee for all 95% RH products. The durability of our products means less damage and
fewer replacements required, resulting in a lower impact on the environment.
