|  The Suspended Ceilings Product Standard EN 13964:2004

This is the product standard for suspended ceilings and it identifies how the ceiling membrane components (tiles) and ceiling suspension components (grid) must be tested against the essential requirements to establish a performance classification. It also indicates how the manufacturer must ensure that their products maintain these levels of performance on an ongoing basis.

Testing using only the European test methods listed in EN 13964 became mandatory on 1 July 2007, when the period of co-existence ended, making national test methods no longer valid for the CE marking of ceiling products.
