OverviewEven as early as 1860, Armstrong has pioneered “green” practices, products and services, first in North America and subsequently worldwide. Our quality and process-driven culture are seeds by which we continue to innovate environmentally-responsible practices. In 1999, we introduced the first and only commercial ceilings recycling program in the industry, providing us with 9 years of experience to date. We have recycled more than 40,000,000 square feet of old acoustical ceiling tiles – representing more than 14,000 tons of construction waste that would have normally been dumped into landfills.
