The Green Square South Tower features as a pivotal development in the Brisbane City Council's Urban Renewal Plan.  Armstrong ceiling systems have been selected to contribute to the 5 star Green Star Assessment of the Green Square project, with specific impact in the IEQ (indoor environmental quality) and the Materials criteria.  Balancing both form and function has led the designers to select an array of Armstrong products, including custom MetalWorks™ metal pan ceilings in each of the foyers.  High acoustic performance and durability were paramount in the selection of an Armstrong ceiling for the "base building".  Similarly, a conventional "two way exposed" Armstrong steel grid system was selected based on cost effectiveness combined with longevity, low lifecycle costing and low embodied energy
