Armstrong introduces Abode™ light commercial sheet flooring

LANCASTER, PA– Armstrong flooring introduces Abode™, a light commercial sheet flooring line offering 27 skus in 12 designs perfect for assisted living facilities, college dorms, multi-family and military housing.

Abode replaces Armstrong’s Commission Plus® line and is the only light commercial sheet flooring on the market to offer metal and textile visuals. With Abode, Armstrong is also entering into the light commercial sheet market with new rustic wood, concrete and marble stone visuals—three designs not previously offered by Commission Plus.

• An updated overall pattern, Fossil, is reminiscent of fossilized stone.
• A new rustic wood visual, Rustic Timbers, offers wider and longer planks and replaces the outdated, low-selling wood visuals in Commission Plus.

In addition to refreshed wood, stone and alternate visuals, Abode’s durable UV-cured coating resists stains and scuffs providing enhanced performance and reduced maintenance costs while offering the industry’s best light commercial sheet warranty.  Abode is FloorScore™ certified to California Section 01350 for low VOC emissions, complies with LEED® credit EQ 4.3 for indoor air quality and credit EQ 4.1 for adhesives comply.  Abode is compatible with Green Guide for Health Care GGHC-IEC4.3 and Collaborative for High Performance Schools CHPS-EIQ2.2. Abode is manufactured at Armstrong’s Lancaster, PA, Plant.
