Commercial Flooring Adhesives

Armstrong’s variety of flooring adhesives offers what you need for a broad range of installation applications. Most of our vinyl and wood floor adhesives are moisture- and alkali-resistant and have these time-saving benefits:

• Short open time
• Excellent trowel ability for swift spreading
• Fast initial grab

Our S-725 Wall Base Adhesive has excellent bond reliability and good wet-strength, so even when the back of the wall base is still tacky, minimal shifting occurs.

For sheet flooring installations, we offer one superior seam adhesive for all our sheet products. Armstrong’s S-761 Seam Adhesive offers two clear advantages for installers: you don’t need heat welding skills, which means seaming is faster and easier, and you don’t need special tools, keeping investment costs low. Best of all, this adhesive has no open time which means no waiting time before you can begin installing the floor. Other similar vinyl adhesives require open time and a 10-hour waiting period before the space can be occupied.
