Healthcare/Hospital - Hyperbaric Room Flooring

The recommended Armstrong flooring for hyperbaric treatment rooms is Static Dissipative STD™, a specialty VCT. Although anti-static flooring is not typically required for this application, the same performance parameters used for telecom rooms, data warehousing, or other electronic areas should be considered.

Static Dissipative STD combines vinyl tile with a specially formulated conductive adhesive to control static charges on hyperbaric room flooring. The tile and adhesive work together to create a continuous path for static to flow to a ground point, where it dissipates. SDT hyperbaric room flooring from Armstrong increases safety for staff and patients and prevents damage to sensitive equipment.
