Cardiovascular Center at Memorial Hospital – Pawtucket, Rhode Island
NATURAL CREATIONS® CONTRIBUTES TO WELLNESS MISSION
The Cardiovascular Center at Memorial Hospital in Rhode Island, in affiliation with Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital
in Boston, strives every day to fulfill its mission of outstanding patient care, innovative medical research and dedication
to teaching the next generation of physicians. When interiors of the Center were upgraded, designers carefully chose colors
and patterns that would create a welcoming and supportive healing environment. For public-facing areas, they took inspiration
from a room set design in the Armstrong Commercial Flooring photo gallery featuring NATURAL CREATIONS® Luxury Vinyl Tile. In this design, the wood visual of ArborArt® weathered oak golden brown forms
a framework around the medallion in Mystix® casablanca zantar, set in a neutral field of Mystix® morocco zantar. NATURAL CREATIONS
is part of Armstrong’s design CONTINUUM™ system of coordinated patterns, colors and textures. The broad range of choices made
it easy to match the new flooring with the Center’s existing flooring. For aseptic environments, like the cardiac catheterization
lab, the choice was MEDINTECH® and MEDINTONE™ homogeneous vinyl sheet in soothing neutral shades. Superior performance features
include: durability, resistance to static and rolling loads and a UV-cured coating for easy maintenance. With the Cardiovascular
Center’s emphasis on promoting health through every patient contact, Armstrong products contribute to its mission in a meaningful
way.
