Preparing the floor: First prepare the floor by ensuring it is perfectly smooth, dry and dust-free.

Adhering: Use suitable adhesives, as recommended by Armstrong. Apply them in even layers with a correctly notched trowel.

Shaping the angles: The Wetroom system easily moulds and shapes to angles and corners. In these situations, the product uses heat to make it more
pliable.

Inserting the manifolds: Insert the discharge draining frame, using the welding rods, for perfect water tightness.

Applying the wall covering: Locate a starting point offset slightly and move around the entire room horizontally until all the walls are covered. A special
trolley (see figure) can be used for easier application.

Sealing the joints: Weld rods are available in various colours to join adjacent sheets. They can be applied with heat using a special heat gun.

Trimming excess materials: apply the product to the walls and remove any excess afterwards with overlapping perimeter edges.

Applying the borders: Matching border strips are available and can be adhered using the same technique as that used for the wall product.

Comparision Wetroom to Ceramic Tiles

Comparison between the Wetroom wall-floor system and conventional tile solutions
The Wetroom wall-floor system consists of a combination of wall and floor coverings in the same raw material (high-quality
vinyl), which, if professionally installed, form an absolutely watertight, hygienic system for wet areas.
A seamless, hard-wearing vinyl floor and wall covering system in continuous installation outperforms conventional tile solutions
in terms of hygiene.
A comparison with ceramic tiles clearly highlights the advantage of vinyl. Vinyl coverings require no cemented seams, which
represent the hygienic weak point of every wet area. Dirt and bacteria are deposited in the cement seams, which become unsightly
and can even be dangerous.
Wetroom products in high-quality vinyl offer no opportunity for bacterial growth and are not prone to attack by mildew. This
is a significant advantage compared to cemented seams.
