Bespoke floor design with Armstrong

Domotex in Hannover – 14. - 17.Januar 2012

Customized Living is the overall theme of Domotex 2012, to be held in Hanover on 14—17 January. Some 1,400 manufacturers will be presenting their 2012 collections at the world’s largest carpets and flooring trade fair.

This year’s focus will be on the trend toward bespoke interior design. In keeping with this trend, we launched our DesignCut collection this year — a unique solution for designing personalised flooring.

You will find the Armstrong booth in Hall 6, Stand H 19 / 1.

DesignCut will be among several highlights presented by us at Domotex 2012. Our 24-square-metre Armstrong exhibit will be located at Stand E09 in Hall 6 (directly across from the contractworld architects’ conference). Come by and see us! We look forward to your visit!

Architect@Work

2011

7 - 8 December in Dusseldorf, Stand 36

This event should not be missed. Following its successful launch last year in the Netherlands, architect@work will take place in Germany for the first time at Messe Dusseldorf on 7th -- 8th December 2011.

Messe Düsseldorf - Halle 1 – South Entrance

Architects and interior designers, in addition to designers, engineering firms and other building-related companies will have the opportunity to view an exclusive range of exciting new products, and make inquiries face-to-face. The focus will be on technical expertise, while short seminars will offer the chance for participants to share their knowledge and experiences.

Visitors will be led past a number of small homogeneous installations, and a lounge setting will replace conventional trade fair aisles.

Once again, we will be taking part in the trade fair, this time presenting DLW Linoleum Art and equipped with thorough information about Green Dialogue and Sustainability. We cordially invite you to attend the event (at no charge).

Armstrong at Euroshop

2011

Exquisite new DLW Scala

In Düsseldorf at EuroShop, the world’s most important retail trade fair (26 Feb – 2 Mar), Armstrong presented its latest Scala designer tile collections to an international audience. These included the new, entirely reworked Scala 100 and Scala 55 collections, as well as the new Scala Click Comfort installation alternative. The stage for the market launch was fashioned in a combination of solid red, orange and violet DesignCut tiles.

In keeping with its recently initiated "green dialogue" campaign, Armstrong re-used a scaled-down version of its booth installation at the BAU trade fair held in January. The strikingly attractive booth featuring enormous fan-shaped structures was designed by architecture students from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen, Germany.

BAU 2011

The Armstrong trade fair booth at BAU 2011

In January 2011, the BAU trade fair for architecture, materials and systems once again attracted many visitors to its host city, Munich. This year, Armstrong presented itself in front of and beneath a giant white fan-shaped structure. The spectacular trade fair booth was the culmination of a project jointly undertaken with architecture students from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen, Germany, led by Professor Jürgen J. Hauck. From the students’ creative designs, Armstrong selected two winning proposals, as well as one for third place, and honoured their achievements at a public awards presentation at the BAU trade fair. The two first prizes went to Tatjana Kapezov, whose proposal was implemented, and to Roman Grube. Poitr Hajnas received the third-place award.
