Donald A. McCunniff
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Donald A. McCunniff is senior vice president of Human Resources for Armstrong World Industries, Inc., responsible for strategic and functional leadership of human resource initiatives worldwide.   He is a member of Armstrong’s Office of the Chairman, which works to manage change across lines of business and functional areas.

Mr. McCunniff joined Armstrong in 2006 from Honeywell International, Inc. (formerly AlliedSignal, Inc.), where he served in a variety of executive Human Resources positions, including vice president - Human Resources, Engine Systems & Services, a $5 billion division of Honeywell. He joined Honeywell in 1995 and held senior level Human Resources positions in Defense and Space, Electronics, Process Automation, and Aircraft Landing Systems. Prior to Honeywell, he worked in Human Resources for a division of the May Company in Topeka, Kansas. He began his professional career as an officer in the U.S. Army where he served in a variety of line and staff positions.

Mr. McCunniff earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Georgia College and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.  He is a member of the board of directors of the Armstrong Foundation.
