The Super Bowl Winner in My House? My Vinyl Floor!
Millions of Americans gathered around their TVs last Sunday to watch the Super Bowl. Whether you were cheering on your favorite team, watching the commercials, or (my personal favorite), rooting for Madonna, homes across America were filled with friends, family and, of course, football food.
My home was no different. A popular treat of the evening was my mother-in-law’s old-fashioned hot dog cart that gave us game-worthy stadium dogs. We had hot dogs and all the condiments set up in the kitchen, and with 20 people constantly moving in and out of the kitchen, ages 3 to 93, you can probably guess what happened next.
Yellow mustard meet my Armstrong vinyl floor.
CleanSweep Wear Layer
Now, if you’ve ever spilled mustard on clothing or any absorbent surface, you know that it leaves behind a nasty stain. That fact holds true for vinyl floors too – unless you have an Armstrong vinyl floor with CleanSweep.
Once we found the mustard spill – long after the culprit had departed – I didn’t panic since I knew my floor wouldn’t stain. I simply wiped up the mustard with a wet paper towel. No trace remained. That was the CleanSweep protective coating at work.
A Baby and A Puppy
A few years ago, when I was trying to decide what type of floor to put in my kitchen, I knew an Armstrong vinyl floor was the best choice for me. I had a new baby and a puppy, so I knew cleaning up grape juice spills, mashed carrot messes and tracks from muddy paws were in my immediate future. I needed a floor that was both durable and easy to clean.
The CleanSweep protective coating on Armstrong vinyl floors is a lifesaver for households with kids and pets because it resists stains from everyday spills and keeps floors looking as good as the day they were installed.
In the end, Super Bowl fun was had by all – great food and a great game – but the real winner was my Armstrong vinyl floor’s battle against the yellow mustard!
