Have you heard? Armstrong Flooring is on Pinterest!
My name is Heather, and I love to pin – on Pinterest, of course! Fortunately, I get to pin at work for Armstrong Flooring! If you aren’t familiar with Pinterest, it’s an online pin board for crafts, recipes, home design, fashion and any other image that appeals to you on the Internet. The way you use Pinterest is to post photos called “pins” onto “boards” that fit common themes like wish lists, holiday recipes, wedding ideas, new house, etc. Then you can refer to them whenever you want to try a new dish or test out a paint color you found. As a part of our Pinterest Design Team, I’m excited to be talking about Armstrong’s fun and beautiful boards that we hope will help you find the right floor or provide a little home decorating inspiration.
When you go to our Pinterest page, you’ll find images you would expect, like pins for living room floors, kitchens and bathrooms. But we also wanted to show you what inspires our designers when they’re getting ideas for creating our floors. Now with Pinterest, you can peek into the types of visuals they consider when they’re designing our hardwoods, laminates and luxury vinyls.
Dream and Do
One of our flooring designers, Jeanette, described the inspiration for her Sea & Sky board: “Sea & Sky was inspired by blue evolving as a current color – new, fresh, clean blues that are from the sea and sky.” Another Pinterest contributor, Bronwynn, thinks that Pinterest will help customers not only find the perfect floor based on their style, but also dream a little bigger when decorating their whole space. For me personally, I think Pinterest is a really fun outlet to dream, then do. I can plan my dream home, while crafting a new piece of artwork for my apartment. The ideas, especially for home decorating, are endless.
View all of our boards on Pinterest like “Here Comes the Sun” dedicated to summery images or our “Spring Fever” board with colors and DIY projects perfect for spring. And be on the lookout for a new board for Mother’s Day and a “Made in the USA” board coming in time for Memorial Day. Now go see what all the chatter is about and happy pinning!
