Architectural Remnants Laminate Floors Create Blog Buzz
Our new Architectural Remnants laminate flooring collection is so fabulous we decided we needed an equally fabulous way to get it the attention it deserved. We found that perfect fit with a popular blogging team known as Shanty2Chic. Sisters Ashley and Whitney from Texas are the women behind the blog who talk about everything DIY for the home. And these women know what they’re talking about – they have the power tools to prove it!
Right now, Ashley is in the midst of building a new house as a DIYer with help from her contractor dad, so flooring is a top consideration. When we showed her the Architectural Remnants collection, she told us, “The collection didn’t just work with my style, it IS my style!” She has decided to install Architectural Remnants on the first floor of her new home. Her choice is still under wraps, so you will have to keep checking the Shanty2Chic blog to see what “I-can’t-believe-that’s-laminate” floor will add a “wow” fashion statement to her décor!
This is the first time Armstrong Flooring has partnered with a popular blogger, and so far the results are exciting. With more than 1,100 likes on the Shanty2Chic Facebook page, our flooring is already a winner with their fans (53,000+). Plus, our one-of-a-kind collection is showing a whole new audience that laminate is a smart, durable, and fashionable choice for the home – it’s definitely not the laminate of 20 years ago that looked “plastic-y” and like a bowling alley lane.
Stay tuned… over the next several months, Ashley will be sharing her progress with the flooring installation in a series of blog posts. We’ll let you know in our social channels when they’re posted, so you can follow along. We can’t wait to see the results!
