- Laminate flooring thickness ranges from 6 to 12 millimeters. Expect to pay more for a thicker product.
- Products with high levels of melamine in the core have improved moisture resistance, and can be more expensive.
- You can expect to pay more for a high quality installation system.
- Some laminate flooring has an attached underlayment. This generally adds $1.00 to $2.00 /sq. ft.
