Product Classification
Board-to-Board Color Variation
Board-to-Board Color Variation

Wood is a natural material that features changes in color and tone. The board-to-board color variation is more pronounced in some species, less in others. If you like the look of contrasting light and dark tones, select a species that offers most color variation. If you prefer consistent color from board to board, choose the least color variation.

Hardness Scale
Hardness Scale

The density/hardness of the wood species and its ability to withstand foot traffic, children and pets will impact its wear performance, and will vary from species to species. Strong, resilient Oak is used as the industry benchmark. The hardness scale shown to the left shows the relative hardness of this wood species.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product was very esy to install I have never put any type of flooring down, but decided to tackle this job myself. Wood went together perfect, easy to install, no surprises of any kind. Now I am doing my whole house. My husband was impressed with the quality. March 21, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by I am disappointed in my floor Two days after putting the floor in I dropped a spoon..It left a ding in the floor showing the white underneath the finish..This product is not good for a kitchen..My contractor made the mistake thinking that the floor was oak..BIG MISTAKE March 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is elegant in appearance and shows well in any light My home owner lives in a modestly designed town home. I recommended this product to the home owner because it matched her stair railings, and because of it's elegance and beauty. The 3 1/4inch width added so much depth to each area, making the rooms appear larger. I installed it in both the living and dining rooms, and stairwell landings. It added a beautiful rich and elegant texture to the rooms and stairwells. It was very easy to install and each plank lay against the other with ease. Your eyes simply glide along the adjoining seams and connections with ease, and most importantly, her Grandson is certainly enjoying sliding across it in his sock feet. September 15, 2011
