I am so happy I chose the Armstrong Classico Travertine luxury vinyl tiles over the ceramics it replaced. The finished appearance looks outstanding, feels great on bare feet, warmer then ceramic, easy to clean & maintain and I have 2 small dogs. The Armstrong quality you expect is evident and this flooring will last forever. I had mine professionally installed but if you are the do it yourself type - installation will be a breeze for you. Do not think twice or hesitate about installing this flooring - you will not be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by queenie Looks and feels like ceramic tiles
We just had the Classico Travertine - Blue Mist/Beige floor professionally installed two days ago for our kitchen renovation. We did not want wood, ceramic tiles or sheet vinyl. After a month of checking and reading reviews, we decided on the alterna reserve from the comments for its warmth, easy maintenance, and the cushioning for long periods of standing and still maintaining a classic ceramic look. The floor enhanced our European style two-tone cabinets, brown-grey bottom cabinets and grey-like top cabinets. The blue/mist/beige was a great choice as it brought out the grey and balanced the color with the top cabinets. For the grout, we chose smoke color stain-proof grout. We were not too sure how to transition from 12x12 ceramic tiles to the vinyl tiles but kept it simple with industry standard one-inch strip. It would be nice if some type of decorating transition strips would be available with the tiles when two different types of flooring need to be separated as this would enhance the appeal. Overall, we are very pleased as the flooring looks and feels like ceramic tiles and does not give a cheap fake look. It is not slippery. I am unable to comment on the ease of maintenance in two days but from previous comments it should live up to expectation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patty I love my Alterna Reserve floor
We had the Alterna Reserve floor installed in our kitchen a month ago. I love it! We didn't want wood because of issues with water and the fact that you have to sand them every few years. We didn't want tile because it is so hard and cold. The Alterna flooring is perfect. It looks beautiful, is durable and easy to clean (we installed it without the grout lines), and feels wonderful when barefoot. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this flooring and also had it grouted with the stain proof grout. It has been in for 5 months and barely shows any dirt or stains. We have 4 dogs, 2 cats. So far I only have to vacuum and spot mop. It looks and feels like stone. My relatives visited and had to bend down to feel it because they didn't believe that it was a vinyl product, they even commented that it felt like stone. I put this in kitchen, both baths and laundry room. Had a skylight blow off during bad storm - water, leaves, dirt came in on to the floor while I was at work, a large dirty puddle was on it for hours, all I had to do was wipe it up, I really thought it would have stained it but it didn't! It is also not slippery to walk on, has the 'grip' of stone on your shoes or feet. I am very pleased. Also the 'repeat' of this pattern is hard to find so that also makes it look NOT like vinyl.
