How to Install Luxury Vinyl Floors

Customer Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dissapointed - Hardly any variation in tiles We chose luxury tile for the warmth and durability compared with ceramic but still looks/feels like real stone. While those aspects of the floor are great - we are very disappointed in the look. We were told the Purstone was the same as Alterna and but a design collaboration with Flooring America and these colors were only available at their stores. We were sold on the fact that there would be 16 variations before there was a notable repetition. This is not the case AT ALL. The 4 tiles you see in the sample picture are all you get. They may be shifted ever so slightly but there are essentially only 4 different tiles which leaves us with multiple tiles in a row with the same design. I don't know if we got a bad batch or if this is because this particular tile has very distinctive patterns but with all the repetition it makes it look very cheap and not at all worth the money. We had the installers come out today with some additional boxes with hopes of replacing some of the repeating patterns. They were unable to do the work because every tile in those boxes had the same 4 designs. Very Disappointing - I wanted to love this floor! January 14, 2015
