Style Definitions
Contemporary - Emphasis on clean lines and simplicity, not clutter. This style does not have to be stark and cold but can be very warm and
welcoming, as well as colorful.
Traditional - Classic, timeless design.
New Traditional - This is not what our parents would have called traditional. It's updated and not at all stodgy, slightly stately and thoroughly
today. It's all in the mix! Antiques and new traditional elements mixed with clean modern lines.
Transitional - Simple contemporary lines with traditional features. Often rooms have a timely, elegant and traditional flavor. The mix
is important. This design allows a very individual approach.
Country Casual - A comfortable casual style filled with personal touches and collections. Light woods are mixed with antiques. Mixes of
color and pattern. This style often has an American twist, but can also have influences from England and France. No matter
what, the focus is on comfort.
