Armstrong™ Cabinets Featured in Cutting-Edge NextGen Showcase Home

Sedona™

Armstrong Cabinet Products, a leading supplier of cabinetry to the home building and remodeling markets, is the official cabinetry supplier of The NextGen "First to the Future" Demonstration Home at the 2007 International Builders Show, the largest light construction show in the world, Feb. 7th - 10th in Orlando, Florida.

Far beyond your typical booth or exhibit, "First to the Future" is a complete, 2,700 square-foot home constructed in the parking lot of the Orange County Convention Center. It aims to give today's builders an up-close look at the future of home construction, especially in the midst of the largest home-rebuilding effort in recent history. According to the American Red Cross, 850,791 housing units were damaged, destroyed or left inaccessible in the wake of the costliest, and one of the deadliest, hurricanes in the history of this country.

The home provides the more than 105,000 expected attendees to the Show with the opportunity to experience how seamlessly the latest technologies and features fit within a fully designed and furnished home. While technology is key, good design is a high priority with consumers and builders alike. Armstrong provided cabinetry throughout most of the home, focusing on its designs in Cherry and Maple.

While the market is trending towards darker finishes on Maple and Cherry, the timeless beauty and elegance of Cherry continues to be the latest trend for homeowners. Darkening to a richer shade as it ages, Cherry reveals variety and natural beauty. The smooth, close-grained wood of Maple has long been considered an elegant choice for cabinetry and other fine furniture. Homeowners recognize its innate beauty, strength and resistance to wear. Maple wood finishes with exceptional consistency resulting in a sleek, uniform look.

LACERISE  offers classic styling and fine cherry wood to create a symbol of elegance. Dramatic accents are reflected by the beauty of square, raised panel, full overlay doors and drawer fronts with either square or eyebrow arched wall cabinets.  LaCerise cabinetry achieves a harmony of material, form and presentation with unparalleled refinement. The 3/4" thick, solid cherry cabinet door and drawer frames are five piece construction and assembled with mortise and tenon joints.  A slightly rounded outer edge door profile achieves either a contemporary or traditional look.   SEDONA is Armstrong’s most decorative and unique maple cabinet, and is destined to make a statement in any room. It features a stunningly beautiful rope inlay design and detailed profile on full overlay doors and drawer fronts, personalizing
