Gene & Katie Hamilton

Gene and Katie Hamilton are veteran do-it-yourself writers and two of the most well-known figures in the home improvement industry. Each week, the Hamiltons answer the question “Do It Yourself…Or Not?” through their weekly, syndicated newspaper column.

For more than 30 years, the Hamiltons have been working on houses and writing about home improvement projects, including the recently released second edition of their book Fix It & Flip It and Fix It & Flip It Workbook with CD-ROM. They have appeared on The Today Show, Dateline NBC and CNN.
