Cedar Knoll

Armstrong products made themselves a household name in plenty of Lancaster’s Parade of Homes this year. One building company, Cedar Knoll, used TinLook Tile #1240 in the dining room to change the focus of the room to the ceiling.

Randy Miller, the purchasing agent for Cedar Knoll, said that with TinLook tiles, the installation was “pretty easy, actually better than we expected. Most of the guys are used to different applications, but this seemed to form pretty well.” Miller also said it helped that the room was square to match up with the square tiles, thus eliminating the need to resize or cut the Armstrong product.

Painted in a warm silver color, the tiles received such positive feedback from walk-throughs and clients that Miller said he and his builder were planning to use the TinLook tiles again in an upcoming custom home.

For the Cedar Knoll Group, it seems Armstrong was just what the doctor ordered. Miller said that originally he spoke with an outside salesman at J&L who recommended the Armstrong tiles as a way to “jazz up the inside of the home.” He sent the Cedar Knoll group away with a brochure and a web address, which the group looked at and were so fond of that they began using Armstrong products in their homes shortly thereafter.
