ARMSTRONG™ ADDS WAINSCOTING AND BACKSPLASH TO WOODHAVEN™ PRODUCT LINE
LANCASTER, Pa. (December 5, 2007) — Consumers are already familiar with the look of wood as a decorative ceiling element.
And, by popular demand, Armstrong is bringing it to their walls.
Armstrong has enhanced the application of its line of WoodHaven™ wood-look ceiling planks and now recommends two finishes specifically for wainscoting and backsplashes. Both Painted White
and Beadboard open up new possibilities for room design and suit a variety of tastes and décor. Consumers can even add their
own touches by custom painting the planks to match individual style.
“The wall application is a natural extension of WoodHaven, and we designed the product in response to consumer interest in
a cost-effective, plank and beadboard texture for walls,” said Rich Wiley, associate marketing manager for Armstrong Residential
Ceilings. “Our WoodHaven backsplash and wainscoting can provide an affordable update to any kitchen, dining area or any other
room in the home.”
The tongue-and-groove planks are geared for those who wish to offer the distinct look of wood with carefree maintenance and
long-lasting durability. Retailing for approximately $3.25 per square foot, WoodHaven can be found at Lowe’s, Home Depot and
other independent retailers. For more information, visit www.armstrong.com.
