QUICK FIXES - THE HARDWOOD ADVANTAGE
Minor Abrasions/Surface Scratches in High-Traffic Areas:
- Clean with Robbins ForEver II Hardwood Flooring Cleaner.
- ForEver II or ForEver II Satin Finish Floors - spot coat with ForEver II Coat (High Gloss) or ForEver II Coat (Satin) Polyurethane Top Dressing.
Minor Nicks/Gouges:
- Fill using Robbins Hardwood Flooring Touch-Up Kit or Acrylic Filler.
Deep Gouges That Penetrate the Stain Layer:
- Replace the individual board and/or sand and finish the floor professionally. (If a floor is properly maintained, you should rarely, if ever, have to do this, except for the purpose of changing the floor's color.)
NOTE: Robbins Opal Ice, Pearl, White Linen and all maple product finishes may require a more rigorous maintenance schedule, especially in high-traffic areas.
