A drop ceiling (or suspended ceiling) is a familiar ceiling style found in many homes – especially in basements – but they can be installed
in any room. Unlike in years gone by, drop ceilings these days are fashionable décor elements that can transform a room and
amplify your design style.
A drop ceiling has two parts: lightweight, acoustic panels and a suspended metal grid. The grid is attached to the existing
ceiling with hangers or wires, and then the panels are inserted inside the grid.

Decorative drop ceilings hide wiring, ductwork, mechanical fixtures – and the original ceiling.
