The approvals recognize Parallel 4", 6", 8", and 12" cladding boards as compliant with High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) building-code requirements when installed as specified. The products are approved with a cladding-clip fastening span of up to 32" on-center, helping reduce the labor associated with shorter fastening spans. A Miami-Dade NOA indicates that Parallel cladding boards have passed strict testing and meet the requirements of the HVHZ building code, including resistance to wind loads, water infiltration, air leakage, and debris impact.
